In November 2011, the Student Councillors in Secondary 2, as well as the Executive Committee of the Council embarked on a meaningful 7 days Service-Learning Trip to Vietnam! Mr Chia, Mr Chui, Ms Tay and Ms Tang joined along too. This Service Learning Trip aims to give the Councillors a valuable opportunity to :
- Serve the Kindergarten in Dong Thap Province through infrastructure works of the school compound to provide a better teaching and learning environment.
- Interact with the kindergarten kids through the teaching of basic English and handicrafts.
- Exchange our culture with the people in Vietnam.
- Grow to become servant leaders with a HEART!
So what does HEART really represents?

Throughout this whole trip, the Councillors have experienced with many situations that have caused them to think deep on those values. These lessons have helped the Councillors to find their true self. After all, being true to yourself is the main key in being a Leader.
This Service Learning Trip have definitely made a huge impact in all the Councillors who went to Vietnam. Indeed, the Councillors will use these life lessons during their daily lives. :)
